Discord will our primary method of communication during this event for all attendees (in-person and virtual). Mentors will also be using a Discord bot to help hackers!
Join our Pearl Hacks 2024 Discord server here! If you do not have a Discord account yet, please create one first.
(Tip: If it says that the invite link is invalid at first, verify your account and the link should work!)
When you first join the Discord server, you will only have access to the Rules channel and Help channels. To get access to the rest of the server, please accept the rules in the #👋welcome-and-rules channel by clicking the green “✅” at the bottom.
After accepting the rules, you’ll get access to the #🏁get-roles channel on the left
Head over, and make sure to click on the reactions (emojis) to assign yourself pronouns and to get the “Participant” role — this will allow you access to the rest of the Discord server
React to different social events and workshops to be added to the channels for these events as well!
