Policies & Procedures
- All in-person attendees must wear masks at all times, with the exception of meal times.
- Disposable masks will be provided on-site, but we encourage hackers, sponsors, and volunteers to bring their own cloth masks for extra protection. Do not share or exchange masks with others.
- Social distancing of at least 6 feet is required when possible. Hacker groups (max 4) are allowed to work closer together at their own discretion.
- Meal spaces and food will be served separately from main hacking spaces. Food items will be individually packaged when possible to avoid cross-contamination.
- Volunteer food servers must wear gloves in addition to masks when on duty.
- Wash your hands and wipe down personal tech equipment frequently. The Student Union venue has plenty of bathroom sinks, and hand sanitizer / baby wipes will be provided on-site.
- If you have any symptoms of illness while on-site, please head home immediately to isolate yourself and schedule a COVID test as soon as possible. You can still attend Pearl Hacks virtually for a rewarding experience, but please do not put others physically at risk!
